Solidarity March 2023

To mark the 'International Day of Elimination of Racial Discrimination' on March 21st, and to build a real sense of solidarity in the Galway community, we organised a march event on the day that brought together all the various marginalised groups. We hope to make the next one bigger than last year, and to execute the planning and media campaign around the event in a more cohesive manner. 

It is expected that this event will continue each year, building on each experience. It is a good example of material support and solidarity for the communities that shows the visible co-ordination between all members and groups affected by racism and discrimination of any type, and it is hoped that it will drown out the voices from the far right.
